Schedule Release Draft

Free · $100 prize1 entrant so far

You’re not drafting teams — you’re drafting games you think will be high-scoring. Believe an offense like the Lions will light up the scoreboard again? Grab their games before someone else does. But think twice: what happens when that high-powered offense runs into a shut-down defense? That game could turn into a slog. The skill is reading the matchup — you want shootouts, not rock fights. Any game you think could be low-scoring, leave it on the board for someone else to regret.

Not sure which matchups will pop? That’s what MockSlate is for — check the opponent pages and last season’s records before you draft.

Every real 2026 matchup is in the pool, with its week and broadcast window. Scout a team’s full slate, then draft the games you think will be shootouts — the line under each game is when it’s played.

Schedule Release Draft FAQ

How does Schedule Release Draft work?

You draft real 2026 games — not teams — in a 16-player snake draft, 17 rounds. Each week your single highest-scoring game (by Game Score) counts; those weekly bests add up across the season. Believe an offense like the Lions will keep lighting up the scoreboard? Draft their games before someone else grabs them.

Is it free? How do I win the $100?

Yes — free to enter, no purchase necessary. The $100 is won through the public national leaderboard (top of all public-league winners). Standard entry applies: an account, an 18+ confirmation, and rules acceptance.

What's the difference between public and private leagues?

Public leagues are free, open to everyone, and prize-eligible — the $100 always runs through them. Private friend leagues are a Pro perk and glory only (bragging rights, never a MockSlate prize). Your prize eligibility counts once per person no matter how many leagues you play.

What if my game gets flexed to a different week?

You drafted the matchup, so it stays yours wherever the league moves it — the deliberate inverse of Slot Draft, where you own the broadcast window instead. Your game's score counts in whatever week it's ultimately played.

What is Game Score?

The shared scoring formula: combined final points, plus combined net yards ÷ 25, plus 5 per combined defensive/return TD, plus 10 if the game goes to overtime. Big totals and wild games score big. It's published on the rules page.

MockSlate's prize games are free-to-enter skill contests — no purchase necessary. Pro-exclusive games are prize-free and carry no cash award. Not affiliated with the NFL or any team.
