Flex Watch
Pro · glory only — no prize2 entrants so farCall the flex before the league does. Every week of the 2026 flex windows, the NFL can move a fading primetime matchup out and promote a Sunday-afternoon game in its place. Your job: call hold or flex on each slot — and when you say flex, name the game that moves in. Each slot locks one day before the earliest possible announcement, so every call is a real prediction, never a news reaction.
Sharp angle: CBS and Fox can each protect one game a week from being flexed — so the biggest afternoon matchup often can’t move. Weigh what the networks will shield before you call a flex-in.
The question board
Every question locks on its own deadline — always one day before the earliest date the NFL could announce that flex. Bonus points for conviction: make your call at least 7 days before a question locks and it’s worth +5 extra if you’re right. Editing a pick restarts its clock, so a call only counts as “early” if you stand by it.
Questions load with the season schedule.
The flex tracker
Every decided week of the 2026 flex season — what held, what moved. This is the answer key your calls grade against.
Nothing decided yet — the first flex can be announced as early as Sep 29. Protected weeks are marked on the board above.
Flex Watch FAQ
How does Flex Watch work?
Each flex-eligible week of the 2026 season, you answer two things before that slot's lock: will the scheduled primetime game hold its slot, and if not, which Sunday-afternoon game gets flexed in? Every slot locks on its own ladder deadline — one day before the earliest date the NFL could announce that flex — so you're always calling it before the league tips its hand.
Is Flex Watch free?
The page, rules, question board, and leaderboard are free to read — playing is part of MockSlate Pro ($12/year founding rate, which also unlocks Slot Draft, Over the Slate, Bye Board, Off the Map, Booth Call, private friend leagues, and advanced stats). There's no prize: Pro games are leaderboard-glory only.
How is it scored?
+5 for a correct hold/flex call, +15 for naming the exact game that got flexed in, and a +5 early-call bonus when a correct call was submitted at least 7 days before that slot's lock. Season-long leaderboard.
Why is a week marked Protected?
The NFL does not flex international games. When an international game occupies a flex-eligible primetime window, that week's question is protected — no picks, no points, and it says so right on the board.
What about Week 18?
The entire Week 18 slate is set on short notice after Week 17, with one game going to Sunday night. That's its own optional question — call the Sunday-night finale before the announcement window.
When does each question lock?
On the ladder: SNF weeks 5–13 and MNF weeks 12–17 lock 13 days before the game; SNF weeks 14–17 lock 7 days out; TNF weeks 13–17 lock a full 22 days out; the Week 18 finale locks 7 days before the final Sunday. Every card shows its own countdown.
