If the season ended today. Picks 1 to 18 are the non-playoff clubs by the league’s procedure; the shaded block, picks 19 to 32, is the playoff clubs in record order, a placeholder until the postseason sets it.

Tiebreaker rule: Clubs not in the playoffs pick 1 through 18 in reverse standings order; ties go to the club whose opponents had the lower aggregate won-lost-tied percentage, then to the divisional, conference, or interconference tiebreakers (the club that loses the standings tiebreaker picks first), then the coin toss. Playoff clubs pick 19 through 32 by exit round, then reverse standings.

How the NFL draft order tiebreaker works

Two non-playoff clubs with the same record are separated by strength of schedule: the combined won-lost-tied percentage of each club’s regular-season opponents, and the club that faced the weaker schedule picks first. If that is also equal, the league applies its standings tiebreakers, divisional, conference, or interconference as the pairing requires, and the club that loses the standings tiebreaker picks first. The coin toss is last. Net touchdowns cannot be worked out from final scores, so this page stops one step short and shows such a tie as tied. • Los Angeles Rams pick, owned by the Cleveland Browns. Myles Garrett trade: Rams sent DE Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick, and a 2029 third-round pick to Cleveland. Browns release, June 1, 2026.
