Twenty-one NFL matchups have met at least three times on Monday night with every game in the same city, 1966–2025. Raiders–Seahawks is the longest run: six games, all in Seattle. The 2026 schedule ends one run (Panthers at Buccaneers, Nov. 30) and extends another (Steelers at Jaguars, Dec. 14).

Some rivalries have never switched sides on Monday night. The Dolphins hosted the Bengals four times and the Bears four times. The Bengals and Bears never hosted the Dolphins back. This list counts every Monday night game from 1966 through 2025, regular season only.

How We Counted Monday Night Games, 1966–2025

  • Regular season only, 1966–2025. No playoff games.
  • A Monday night game is a game played on Monday night. Christmas Monday games at 8 PM ET or later count. Christmas daytime games and the 5 PM ET Monday games of 2020 and 2021 do not. The eight Monday games from 1966 to 1969 are included and do not change the list.
  • A matchup makes the list with three or more Monday night games, all in one city.
  • Suburbs count as their metro area: Miami Gardens is Miami, Pontiac is Detroit, Orchard Park is Buffalo, Anaheim is Los Angeles, East Rutherford is New York.
  • A team relocation counts as a different city. Neutral-site and displaced home games count where they were played.
  • 2026 games come from the published schedule as of Sept. 18, 2026, and can change through flex scheduling.
  • Game data: nflverse games data (Lee Sharpe) and MockSlate's Primetime & Holiday Game History.
