Schedule Props — $100 Contest Official Rules — effective when entries open

Sponsor: Cody Blaze Enterprises LLC d/b/a MockSlate. MockSlate is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with the National Football League, any NFL team, or any player. All league and team names are used for descriptive reference only.

Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and D.C. who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling) and household members, are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Entry Period: Entries are scheduled to open in February 2027; exact open and lock times will be announced before entries open. Entries must be saved and locked by the announced Entry Deadline. Sponsor's server clock is the official timekeeper.

How to Enter: Log in to your free MockSlate account, build your entry on the Contest page, review the Rules, confirm you are 18+, and click Save. One (1) entry per account. Multiple accounts or entries per person will result in disqualification of all associated entries.

Prize: One (1) prize of one hundred U.S. dollars ($100.00), paid by Zelle or Venmo (winner's choice) to the sole winner within 30 days after winner verification. Approximate Retail Value: $100. Odds of winning depend on the number and quality of entries received and skill applied. Winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes.

Judging and Tiebreakers: Entries scored per the published Scoring Rubric (below). In the event of a tie: the entry closest to the published tiebreaker question wins; if still tied, the earliest-submitted entry wins. Sponsor's scoring decisions are final and binding. The Scoring Rubric and Tiebreakers are frozen at the Entry Deadline and will not be changed thereafter.

Winner Notification and Publicity: Winner will be notified by email at the address on their account within 14 days of the Entry Deadline. If a potential winner cannot be reached within 7 days of the first notification attempt, or if a prize is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the next-highest-scoring eligible entrant. By entering, winner grants Sponsor the right to publish winner's display name in connection with contest results and promotional recap on MockSlate-owned channels.

General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Contest, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor may disqualify any entrant it believes has tampered with entry, scoring, or the Service.

Privacy: Information submitted is handled per the MockSlate Privacy Policy at mockslate.com/privacy.

Disputes and Governing Law: All disputes are governed by these Rules and the MockSlate Terms of Service (including the arbitration and class-waiver provisions), and by the laws of the State of Florida without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Entry & eligibility

  • Free to enter — no purchase necessary. MockSlate Pro is not required and never affects prize eligibility or odds.
  • Prize: $100 to the #1 entry on the national leaderboard on release night, when the whole board grades at once. One entry per person.
  • Entrants must be 18 or older with a MockSlate account, US only at launch. Void where prohibited.
  • Entries open when the 2027 lines are posted (February 2027) and lock at the officially announced schedule-release time. Change any call freely until then; after the lock your board rides.
  • Lines freeze when entries open — no line, definition, or tiebreak wording changes once the first entry is accepted.

How to play & scoring

  • Answer over or under on all 20 lines, plus the numeric tiebreaker. A partial board can’t be submitted.
  • +1 per correct call — maximum 20. Every line ends in .5, so no result can land on the line: there are no pushes and no partial credit.
  • Every line grades on release day, straight from the released schedule document — the board and the leaderboard are final release night.
  • Tiebreak: what will the league-high primetime appearance count be for any single team on the 2027 schedule? Closest to the actual value wins; if still tied, the earliest-submitted entry wins.

The 2027 board — lines & grading definitions

Every line grades by its published definition below — nothing else. These definitions freeze with the lines (currently DRAFT, final at the February freeze).

  1. Cowboys primetime games: 6.5Counts Dallas’s primetime appearances on the released schedule. Primetime means the Kickoff opener, Thursday Night Football, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, and Thanksgiving or Christmas games kicking off 7:00 PM ET or later; holiday afternoon games and Black Friday do not count, and each primetime game credits both teams with one appearance.
  2. Chiefs primetime games: 5.5Counts Kansas City’s primetime appearances on the released schedule. Primetime means the Kickoff opener, Thursday Night Football, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, and Thanksgiving or Christmas games kicking off 7:00 PM ET or later; holiday afternoon games and Black Friday do not count, and each primetime game credits both teams with one appearance.
  3. Lions primetime games: 5.5Counts Detroit’s primetime appearances on the released schedule. Primetime means the Kickoff opener, Thursday Night Football, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, and Thanksgiving or Christmas games kicking off 7:00 PM ET or later; holiday afternoon games and Black Friday do not count, and each primetime game credits both teams with one appearance.
  4. Bills primetime games: 5.5Counts Buffalo’s primetime appearances on the released schedule. Primetime means the Kickoff opener, Thursday Night Football, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, and Thanksgiving or Christmas games kicking off 7:00 PM ET or later; holiday afternoon games and Black Friday do not count, and each primetime game credits both teams with one appearance.
  5. Bears primetime games: 3.5Counts Chicago’s primetime appearances on the released schedule. Primetime means the Kickoff opener, Thursday Night Football, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, and Thanksgiving or Christmas games kicking off 7:00 PM ET or later; holiday afternoon games and Black Friday do not count, and each primetime game credits both teams with one appearance.
  6. Eagles primetime games: 4.5Counts Philadelphia’s primetime appearances on the released schedule. Primetime means the Kickoff opener, Thursday Night Football, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, and Thanksgiving or Christmas games kicking off 7:00 PM ET or later; holiday afternoon games and Black Friday do not count, and each primetime game credits both teams with one appearance.
  7. Cowboys + Eagles combined primetime games: 10.5The sum of Dallas’s and Philadelphia’s primetime appearances on the released schedule. Primetime means the Kickoff opener, Thursday Night Football, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, and Thanksgiving or Christmas games kicking off 7:00 PM ET or later; holiday afternoon games and Black Friday do not count, and each primetime game credits both teams with one appearance.
  8. Teams with zero primetime games: 1.5The number of teams with no primetime appearances on the released schedule. Primetime means the Kickoff opener, Thursday Night Football, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, and Thanksgiving or Christmas games kicking off 7:00 PM ET or later; holiday afternoon games and Black Friday do not count, and each primetime game credits both teams with one appearance.
  9. Teams with six or more primetime games: 5.5The number of teams with six or more primetime appearances on the released schedule. Primetime means the Kickoff opener, Thursday Night Football, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, and Thanksgiving or Christmas games kicking off 7:00 PM ET or later; holiday afternoon games and Black Friday do not count, and each primetime game credits both teams with one appearance.
  10. Total primetime games on the schedule: 60.5The count of distinct primetime games across the released 272-game schedule. Primetime means the Kickoff opener, Thursday Night Football, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, and Thanksgiving or Christmas games kicking off 7:00 PM ET or later; holiday afternoon games and Black Friday do not count, and each primetime game credits both teams with one appearance.
  11. Thursday Night Football games: 15.5Games in the branded Thursday Night Football window on the released schedule — regular-season Thursday night games excluding the Kickoff opener and all Thanksgiving-week and Black Friday-week holiday games.
  12. International games kicking off before noon ET: 6.5International games (per the international definition above) whose scheduled kickoff on the released schedule is earlier than 12:00 PM Eastern Time.
  13. Games on Christmas Day (Saturday, Dec 25, 2027): 2.5Games scheduled for December 25, 2027 (local stadium date) on the released schedule.
  14. Teams whose bye lands in Weeks 5–7: 8.5Teams whose bye — the league week in which they are scheduled to play no game — falls in Week 5, 6, or 7 of the released schedule.
  15. Teams with a 3-game road trip: 3.5Teams with three or more consecutive games as the designated road team on the released schedule; a designated home game at a neutral or international site breaks the streak.
  16. Chiefs home games in December: 2.5Games on the released schedule at Kansas City’s home stadium with a scheduled date in December 2027, any kickoff time or window.
  17. The Titans' new stadium hosts a primetime game in Weeks 1–2: 0.5Counts 1 if the released schedule places a primetime game at the Titans’ home stadium in Week 1 or Week 2, otherwise 0. Primetime means the Kickoff opener, Thursday Night Football, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, and Thanksgiving or Christmas games kicking off 7:00 PM ET or later; holiday afternoon games and Black Friday do not count, and each primetime game credits both teams with one appearance.
  18. Bills play at Miami in September: 0.5Counts 1 if the released schedule places Buffalo at Miami (Bills as the designated road team) with a scheduled date in September 2027, otherwise 0.
  19. NFC South teams' combined primetime games: 10.5The sum of primetime appearances by Atlanta, Carolina, New Orleans, and Tampa Bay on the released schedule. Primetime means the Kickoff opener, Thursday Night Football, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, and Thanksgiving or Christmas games kicking off 7:00 PM ET or later; holiday afternoon games and Black Friday do not count, and each primetime game credits both teams with one appearance.
  20. The Lions' Thanksgiving opponent is a division rival: 0.5Counts 1 if the released schedule’s Thanksgiving game at Detroit is against an NFC North opponent, otherwise 0.

Tiebreaker. The highest appearance count by any single team on the released schedule. Primetime means the Kickoff opener, Thursday Night Football, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, and Thanksgiving or Christmas games kicking off 7:00 PM ET or later; holiday afternoon games and Black Friday do not count, and each primetime game credits both teams with one appearance. Closest entry to the actual value wins ties; if still tied, the earliest-submitted entry wins.

The fine print

  • Grading uses the schedule as first officially released (later flexes, reschedules, or relocations don’t change release-day results).
